Recycling

The project of the packaging is focused on Grace’s dinning hall, part of RIT Dining services in the main campus, Rochester, NY. Grace’s produces a huge amount of packaging waste. The project is to create a new solutions and products of the potential packaging waste in two stages: reuse the packaging waste into a new design. The second stage is to redesign the packaging in such way that will solve the problems of it.

REUSE
This is the final prototype of the panelled lamp that was made from the bases of the Clementine crates. Every lamp consists of four/ three panels that attached to one another by small slots in the edges of each panel. The metal lamp base is a small structure that attached to one side of the lamp with small bulb. The effect of the circular holes in the original Clementine crate whats make the lamp more special.
